With an investment of 3.5 million euros, the NIA Neurodiversity Academy Association aims to build a campus dedicated to adults and adolescents with severe autism inspired by good practices abroad. It will have a residential component, also offering day therapy, will include work and creation workshops, a micro-greenhouse, a micro-farm and will be centered on the idea of self-sustainability. It will also be an integral part of the community in the city of Bolintin-Vale, creating new jobs, mobilizing local resources, but also supporting families in the southern part of the country who are struggling to manage the situation of teenagers and adults with severe autism.
